Mexican Future. The end of toxic masculinity was created to critique the macho environment that the Mexican society has been cultivating and to project a better future. The spectator faces the headless figure, rendered in a classical naturalistic style, of a brown male which the artist intended to represent an idealistic Mexican male. Seated on an agave, a symbolic plant of Mexico, the figure raises his right hand as an arrogant gesture. Flowers grow from his neck instead of his head suggesting the end of an era.
